We designed the visual identity, website and campaigns for the shopkeepers and flower sellers of Columbia Road in East London.

Our task was to represent the sixty independent shops, the flower market, and the area’s vibrancy past and present, in a unified visual fashion.

The identity is a combination of two simple tags or signs to represent the street’s dual identity. The simple styling of the site, use of bold colour and a nod to the geography make for a distinct representation of the community and its collective character.

The website is built using a CMS which allows each shopkeeper / flower seller to create and update their own sections whilst also adding to a shared content sections.

We’ve help measure the results which show an increase in visitors to the site by 400% which then in turn increases visitors to the market and events.
