LoLo (or the London Loughborough Centre for doctoral research in energy demand if you prefer) is the name given to a unique partnership between The Energy Institute and Loughborough University’s Department of Civil and Building Engineering.

Funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the centre will train an elite group of experts, just 100 over the next eight years, who will be suitably knowledgeable to tackle the critical issue of energy demand, and how we go about reducing it on a national and international scale.

We were asked to rename the partnership (its previous acronym being UCLLBUKCDTEDR), create the LoLo brand, design the visual identity, produce the verbal identity, set-up the website and a literature scheme.
